About Civiteq

Civiteq is a specialist consultancy working at the intersection of technology, change and public services. We support organisations delivering complex digital transformation programmes, including major ERP implementations. We help them to design, deliver and embed change that genuinely works for people.

We're known for our collaborative culture, deep subject-matter expertise and practical, people-centred approach to delivery.

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded Lead Principal Consultant – Emerging Markets to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to shape Civiteq's future growth by identifying, developing and activating new market opportunities, building strategic relationships and helping expand our impact across public services.

Role Objective

As Lead Principal Consultant – Emerging Markets, you will lead Civiteq's approach to identifying, prioritising and developing emerging market opportunities. Working closely with Growth, Delivery and Leadership teams, you'll turn market insight into actionable plans, helping Civiteq decide where to invest, expand and grow.

You'll act as a senior ambassador for Civiteq, building credibility within priority markets, developing strategic partnerships and creating the conditions for sustainable pipeline growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify, assess and prioritise emerging market opportunities aligned to Civiteq's strategy.
  • Translate market insight into clear recommendations, investment decisions and go-to-market plans.
  • Shape how Civiteq's existing services and propositions evolve to meet emerging market needs.
  • Support the development of new propositions where gaps or opportunities are identified.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospects, partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent Civiteq at industry events, conferences, roundtables and networking activities.
  • Work with Growth colleagues to develop market engagement plans and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Monitor market performance and provide recommendations on where Civiteq should expand, maintain or exit.
  • Establish and embed effective ways of working, governance and reporting across emerging market activity.
  • Build and lead the emerging markets capability, supporting collaboration and execution across the business.

Requirements

We're looking for someone with:

  • Significant experience in market development, business growth, proposition development or go-to-market strategy within consultancy, public sector or related environments.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to assess market opportunities and strategic fit.
  • Experience shaping opportunities, propositions and growth strategies from insight through to execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • A proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across multiple teams.
  • Experience developing strategic partnerships and routes to market.
  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Confidence representing an organisation externally and building credibility within target markets.
  • Experience leading initiatives, teams or capabilities in a complex environment.

Applications close on Sunday 26 September. We will begin reviewing applications once the closing date has passed and will be in touch with shortlisted candidates thereafter.

Benefits

You’ll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team where your work makes a real impact. We offer:

  • Salary: £90.000 to £110,000 per year. We are committed to offering salaries that are fair, competitive and aligned to experience and capability.
  • This role is fully remote, but there will be a requirement to travel to client sites. We aim to balance flexibility with meaningful in-person engagement.
  • Opportunities to shape how we grow and win work
  • A supportive culture that values innovation, integrity, and excellence
  • Contributory Pension – employer contribution of 5%, if the employee contributes 3%
  • Colleague bonus scheme – based on company profitability and achievement of individual objectives
  • Access to Yu Life
  • Private Medical with BUPA
  • Health Cash Plan
  • Dental Cash plan
  • Life Assurance * 3
  • Holidays starting at 28 days but increase with length of service
  • Holiday purchase scheme
  • Car Salary sacrifice scheme (once passed probation)
