Job Description Summary
The Compliance Investigator will be responsible for leading investigations relating to potential violations of law or GE Vernova policy. Working with other stakeholders in Legal, Compliance, Controllership, HR and other areas, the Compliance Investigator will lead investigations of policy concerns raised through the open reporting system and provide regular updates of cases status to business stakeholders. This role will report to the Compliance Investigations Leader in the GE Vernova Compliance function.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage investigations related to policy concerns raised through reporting channels.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including interviews, risk assessments, documentation reviews, and evidence gathering.
- Partner with Compliance, Labor & Employment, and HR to determine findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive, and evidence-based investigation reports detailing allegations, findings, and conclusions.
- Provide regular case status updates and communicate outcomes to key business stakeholders.
- Present investigation summaries and briefings to senior leadership as needed.
- Monitor assigned cases to ensure timely resolution and compliance with established procedures and standards.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Ombuds, and cross-functional teams to identify trends and support investigations across multiple regions.
- Bachelor Degree;
- Solid experience in compliance, legal, investigations, audit or related field;
- Language proficiency in Portuguese; must be fluent in English.
- Highest personal integrity with demonstrated ability to handle confidential matters in a discreet and respectful manner.
- Expertise in Legal, Finance, Quality, or Sourcing, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions, manage competing priorities, and support stakeholders across multiple locations in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, coaching, presentation, and collaboration skills, with experience influencing outcomes in global, matrixed organizations.
- Language proficiency in Spanish
