Latam Non-trade Accounts Payable Senior Specialist

Join Gallagher as an Accounts Payable Senior Specialist for the Latin America Region. In this role, you’ll support the LATAM Non-trade Accounts Payable Manager with implementing systems, maintaining operations, and driving Compensating Controls initiatives. You’ll work with a collaborative team, contribute to impactful projects, and help shape efficient processes across LATAM.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and compliance within LATAM Accounts Payable. From reviewing Compensating Controls to supporting system implementations, your work will directly impact the efficiency and accuracy of our processes. You’ll also collaborate with local teams, provide training, and maintain vendor compliance. By identifying opportunities for improvement, you’ll help us deliver better outcomes for our teams and stakeholders.

Here’s what you’ll do:

• Review and analyze Compensating Controls to ensure compliance.
• Support LATAM offices with supplier invoice processing and payment preparation.
• Maintain vendor records and compliance standards.
• Provide training and create clear, accessible SOP documentation.
• Collaborate with teams to address regulatory changes and implement new initiatives.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
• Is fluent in English and Spanish.
• Can travel internationally up to 30% of the time.
• Has advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Is skilled in vendor maintenance and account reconciliation.
• Enjoys working independently and with cross-functional teams.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with diverse teams.
