We are seeking a Kubernetes Administrator to support a large-scale Facets migration project within the healthcare payer environment. This role will be responsible for installing, configuring, and managing containerized applications across production-grade Kubernetes clusters, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in development, testing, and production environments
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of Kubernetes environments
  • Troubleshoot cluster, application, and infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis and resolution
  • Support deployment and integration activities related to the Facets migration project
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications
  • Manage cluster security, including access controls, secrets management, and vulnerability remediation
  • Monitor system health using logging and monitoring tools, ensuring proactive issue detection
  • Collaborate with DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams to optimize system performance
  • Maintain documentation for cluster configurations, processes, and best practices




Requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience administering Kubernetes in production environments
  • Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of networking, security, and system performance within containerized environments
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across technical teams
  • Experience supporting healthcare systems or payer environments
  • Exposure to Facets or similar healthcare platforms
  • Experience working on system migration or transformation projects\
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm)
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
