About the Role

Are you a strategic collaborator who thrives on helping organizations grow and succeed? We are seeking a Knowledge Mobilization Specialist to strengthen the impact of Community Support Services across Eastern Ontario. In this role, you will act as a bridge between innovation and practice, working directly with member agencies to enhance their capacity and improve service outcomes for the community. You will lead regional initiatives, facilitate shared learning, and provide the tools and training necessary for our sector to evolve and excel. Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Plan, monitor, and evaluate regional strategic initiatives aligned with the sector work plan.
  • Evidence to Action: Translate complex research and data into clear, usable insights for practitioners and decision-makers.
  • Sector Support: Identify emerging gaps and opportunities to highlight promising practices across the CSS sector.
  • Capacity Building: Design and deliver training and learning opportunities, including instructor-led and eLearning formats, to support practice change.
  • Change Leadership: Support agencies through transitions by sharing tools, lessons learned, and change management approaches.
  • Partnerships: Facilitate working groups and communities of practice to foster collective learning and shared priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Undergraduate degree in health/social sciences, evaluation, or knowledge mobilization.
  • Experience: 5–7 years in a community health or non-profit setting, including project leadership and staff supervision.
  • Language: Advanced written and verbal communication skills in both English and French.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with diverse stakeholders and gain consensus across professional groups.
  • Expertise: Strong knowledge of adult learning, change management, and equity and inclusion frameworks.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau) and survey platforms (e.g., SurveyMonkey). 

Other:

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle required, including $2 million in liability insurance.
  • This role may require occasional travel
