The  Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conceptualizing and executing social media content across platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube, Threads, TikTok etc.)
  
• Edit short-form videos and reels using trending formats, transitions, and sounds
  
• Support in scheduling and publishing daily posts
  
• Help in monitoring performance metrics and brainstorming ways to grow engagement
  
• Collaborate with the creative and editorial teams for campaign and daily content ideas
  
• Stay updated with social media trends, memes, and viral formats
  

Requirements

• Decent understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok culture
  
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar video editing tools
  
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva is a plus
  
• Great communication skills and attention to detail
  
• A creative thinker who can work in a fast-paced digital environment
  
• Currently enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as journalism, communications, marketing, or a related discipline
  
• Strong creative writing skills with an ability to craft engaging captions and content
  
• Familiarity with major social media platforms and an understanding of trends in content sharing.
  
• Ability to adapt content for different social media channels
  
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  

Bonus Points

• Passion for sports / entertainment / pop culture
  
• Experience handling or creating content for a social media page
  
• Basic understanding of analytics and post-performance tools
