Junior Software Developer (Mobile & Web) - (LATAM only)

This is a remote position.

Only candidates based in Latin America who can work professionally in English and Spanish will be considered.

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to build and maintain a production web and mobile platform used by teams in the United States. You will work with other engineers, take ownership of assigned work, and solve technical problems with limited supervision.

This role requires someone who can understand a business need, ask the right questions, implement a reliable solution, test it, and communicate progress or blockers clearly.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain features across the frontend, backend, and mobile application.
  
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
  
• Translate business requirements into clear technical tasks and working features.
  
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes.
  
• Write automated tests and handle errors in a way that makes issues easier to detect and resolve.
  
• Work with PostgreSQL and contribute to cloud-based applications and development workflows.
  
• Use Git and GitHub to manage branches, issues, pull requests, and code reviews.
  
• Document changes, technical decisions, and development processes.
  
• Work independently on assigned deliverables while collaborating with the engineering team when needed.
  
• Communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly in English.
  

Requirements

Technical experience

We’re looking for practical experience with the following:

• Backend: Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and PostgreSQL
  
• Frontend: React and TypeScript
  
• Mobile: React Native and Expo
  
• Infrastructure and tools: AWS, Docker, Linux, Git, and GitHub
  
• Quality: debugging, error handling, and automated testing
  

Experience with Kotlin, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security or Spring Cloud, and integrations with financial or accounting platforms is valuable for this role.

You do not need to have used every library in our stack, but you should be able to show how you have applied the core technologies above in real projects.
