Job Summary

We are seeking Junior and Semi-Senior ColdFusion Developers to maintain, enhance, and modernize legacy CFML web applications. The role involves debugging production issues, optimizing SQL databases, integrating front-end components and REST/SOAP services, and supporting modernization initiatives. Candidates should be comfortable working with Adobe ColdFusion or Lucee, relational databases, HTML/CSS/JavaScript, and Agile delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and debug existing ColdFusion (CFML) web applications.

• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, views, and stored procedures.

• Develop and integrate front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Diagnose and resolve application bugs, technical issues, and production errors.

• Support the refactoring, modernization, or migration of legacy ColdFusion applications.

• Integrate RESTful and SOAP web services into CFML applications.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and estimation.

• Use Git for version control and maintain accurate technical documentation.

• Contribute to peer code reviews and uphold code-quality standards.

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• Hands-on experience with ColdFusion (CFML), Adobe ColdFusion, or Lucee.

• Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL query development and optimization.

• Experience integrating HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with ColdFusion applications.

• Ability to debug, maintain, and enhance legacy codebases.

• Understanding of web application architecture, including request/response lifecycle, sessions, and forms.

• English proficiency for daily communication with the client team.

• Junior level: 1–2 years of ColdFusion experience and ability to deliver guided bug fixes and small features.

• Semi-Senior level: 3–5 years of ColdFusion experience, with the ability to independently deliver features, troubleshoot production issues, and participate in code reviews.
