Junior Oracle APEX Developer Consultant

Location: Colombia (100% Remote, operating on Colombia's calendar and business hours) | Contract: Fixed-Term (until December 31, 2026) | Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Development: Build applications and modules in Oracle APEX based on requirements provided by the consulting team, meeting established deadlines and quality standards.

• Quality & Testing: Perform unit and functional testing on developments and execute QA transfers following internal version control and deployment procedures.

• Data Analysis: Interpret data models (ER diagrams and data dictionaries) and review functional specifications to identify inconsistencies or information gaps.

• Documentation & Reporting: Document developments (code, changes, and technical decisions) and report progress, risks, or blockers in a timely manner.

• Collaboration: Partner with senior consultants and functional teams to resolve technical inquiries and refine deliverables.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Background in Software Development, Systems Engineering, or related fields.

• Oracle APEX: Required knowledge of Oracle APEX (academic projects or internship experience are accepted).

• Technical Skills: SQL, PL/SQL, programming logic, and basic software quality testing concepts (functional testing, test cases).

• Language: B2-B2+ English level.

• Soft Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, effective communication, attention to detail, proactivity, autonomous learning, and teamwork.
