To expand our dedicated and highly professional team we are looking for a (Junior) Financial Accountant / Finanzbuchhalter as soon as possible.

The job

As a Financial Accountant, you are responsible for the documentation and analysis of financial data as well as for the preparation and presentation of relevant information.

Independent posting of all business transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, assets, bank, credit cards and travel expenses in DATEV (CDG and CTS)

Carrying out invoicing, dinning, and advance sales tax returns

Preparation and checking of payment runs

Master data and account maintenance

Participation in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB in cooperation with the external tax office and our colleagues (m/f/d) in the UK

Contact person for employees, customers and suppliers as well as auditors and authorities

Support with weekly cash flow updates

Participation in projects as well as provision and preparation of information for other departments

The requirements profile

Completed commercial training with relevant further qualifications in financial accounting or completed (technical) university studies in accounting, finance, business administration or similar.

Relevant professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of activity appropriate to the task preferred

Good knowledge of HGB

Very good knowledge of common MS Office applications - especially Excel - as well as accounting software, ideally DATEV

Very good, business fluent knowledge of the German language, both written and spoken

Very good, business fluent knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken, desirable

High degree of loyalty, ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility

Independent, committed and self-reliant way of working

Very good organizational and coordination skills as well as accuracy

Salary: R28 000 - R32 000 per month
