You will support the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automated software delivery processes for the reView platform. This includes managing container builds, artifact workflows, and deployment automation across cloud and air-gapped environments.
This is a remote position.
This is a remote position.
As Junior CI/CD Engineer, you will support the automated software delivery capabilities used to build, test, package, and deploy the data² reView Decision Intelligence platform.
Working closely with the Platform Engineer, Engineering, and QA Automation, you will help implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, container build processes, artifact workflows, automated quality and security gates, and supporting release processes.
You will work within established platform architecture, Infrastructure as Code, AWS, container, and Kubernetes patterns to improve the reliability and efficiency of software delivery. reView is delivered not only into cloud environments but into on-premises, disconnected, and air-gapped customer environments - so the artifacts and processes you maintain must be reproducible and installable without network egress.
This is a build-and-learn role within defined guardrails. You will work from established patterns and approved changes; production promotions, Infrastructure as Code changes, and secrets configuration are made under review and approval, with least-privilege access appropriate to the environment.
The role offers hands-on experience across AWS, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices while contributing directly to production software delivery.
Your work will support both the Global Product and Federal delivery tracks.
This position requires work within U.S.-controlled development and federal software-delivery environments.
Support the implementation and operation of reView CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain pipeline configurations using established platform patterns.
• Automate source, build, test, package, deployment, and promotion activities.
• Maintain pipeline variables, configurations, triggers, dependencies, and reusable components.
• Troubleshoot pipeline failures and support Engineering in resolving build and deployment issues.
• Improve pipeline execution speed, reliability, and visibility.
Tools / Skills: Git-based version control, CI/CD pipeline tooling, YAML, Bash, Python.
Support repeatable creation and management of deployable software artifacts.
• Maintain automated application and container build processes.
• Build and maintain Docker configurations and container workflows.
• Support artifact versioning, storage, promotion, and release traceability.
• Implement established container scanning and artifact-signing processes.
• Generate and maintain SBOMs and build provenance for released artifacts, supporting secure software development attestation requirements applicable to federal delivery.
• Maintain reproducible build and packaging processes, including offline installation bundles and mirrored dependency and registry content for disconnected and air-gapped deployments.
Tools / Skills: Docker, container registries, artifact repositories, SBOM and signing tooling.
Support automated deployment of reView across cloud, on-premises, and disconnected environments.
• Maintain automated deployment workflows for development, test, staging, and production environments.
• Support Kubernetes/EKS deployment configurations and application runtime configuration.
• Support deployment paths for on-premises clusters and air-gapped installations where pipeline egress is unavailable.
• Assist with Infrastructure as Code changes using established modules, standards, and review processes.
• Maintain environment variables, secrets integration, and configuration patterns.
• Support automated deployment, rollback, and recovery workflows - including stateful services, where rollback involves schema migration, backup, and restore rather than image revert alone.
Tools / Skills: AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Terraform or AWS CDK, secrets management, Memgraph and other stateful services.
Help integrate automated quality and security controls into software delivery.
• Integrate QA automated tests into CI/CD workflows.
• Maintain automated quality and release gates.
• Support SAST, dependency, secrets, and container-security scanning within pipelines.
• Troubleshoot automated test and security-gate execution issues.
• Maintain traceability of pipeline results, builds, artifacts, and releases.
• Help ensure pipeline output serves as usable evidence for SOC 2 change-management controls and, where applicable, NIST 800-171 / CMMC requirements - so evidence is produced once and used everywhere.
Tools / Skills: CI/CD security and code-assurance tooling, SAST and dependency scanners, Docker, Kubernetes.
Help maintain a reliable and efficient delivery capability.
• Monitor pipeline health, execution results, failures, and performance.
• Investigate recurring failures and implement approved improvements.
• Maintain CI/CD documentation, procedures, templates, and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive delivery activities.
• Support release activities and provide pipeline and deployment evidence as required.
• Work with the Platform Engineer to continuously improve delivery automation across the Global Product and Federal delivery tracks.
Tools / Skills: Grafana, Loki, Jira, Git-based version control.
• Authorized to work in the United States and eligible to work within U.S.-controlled development and federal software-delivery environments, including access to export-controlled technical data.
• 1–3 years of experience in CI/CD, DevOps, cloud engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, or a related technical role.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and pipelines.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Working knowledge of AWS.
• Experience with or understanding of Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Basic scripting or automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar languages.
• Understanding of software build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues using logs and system information.
• Care with production access and change control - comfort working within review, approval, and least-privilege boundaries.
• Strong willingness to learn modern cloud, platform engineering, DevOps, and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong written and spoken English for collaboration across a distributed engineering organization.
