Dewitt Move Worldwide seeks to hire an experienced logistics professional, with excellent customer service skills, to assist our Government Logistics Department with GSA agencies moving household goods and personal effects around the world. We are a family-owned, essential business, looking for an excellent logistics specialist, to join our growing team in San Diego!

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm or Monday – Friday 7am – 4pm

Remote Position 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assigns approved origin agents to pack shipments in mainland USA or around the world
  • Coordinate door to door logistics for household goods shipments, including pickup, packing, transportation (ocean & air freight), storage, and delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and addressing questions or concerns throughout the move process
  • Books air & ocean transportation using cost analysis
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipment documentation (estimates, inventories, ocean bills of lading, AWBs, delivery receipts, etc.)
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays, damages, or service issues
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and applicable transportation regulations
  • Track shipment costs
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two (2) years’+ of experience in logistics, transportation, moving services, or relocation coordination preferred
  • Must have ITGBL experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Working in a networked environment using Windows and/or Windows like interface using Microsoft Office suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook at a proficient level
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with frequent communication via phone and email
  • May require flexibility to support moves across multiple time zones

Pay:

  • $55k - $65k depending on experience
