IT ServiceNow Administrator | Remote, USA

The IT ServiceNow Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and support of the ServiceNow platform. This role will help ensure the platform remains stable, secure, and effective while supporting ongoing improvements to IT service management processes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on administrator who can independently manage standard platform needs, troubleshoot issues, and continue developing their ServiceNow knowledge

How you'll make an impact

• Administer, configure, maintain, and support the ServiceNow platform and core ITSM capabilities.
• Manage users, groups, roles, access, forms, fields, notifications, catalog items, and standard workflows.
• Support Incident, Request, Problem, Change, Knowledge, and Service Catalog processes.
• Troubleshoot platform and configuration issues and partner with technical teams on more complex problems or integrations.
• Experience configuring forms, tables, fields, UI policies, business rules, workflows, Flow Designer, notifications, reports, and dashboards.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, testing, reporting, dashboards, and routine platform health activities.
• Experience with ServiceNow integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, or other enterprise integration technologies is preferred.
• Ability to support, and administer emerging ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, Virtual Agent/chatbot functionality, and AI-driven automation.
• Identify opportunities to improve self-service, automate manual processes, and enhance the user experience.
• Maintain platform documentation and follow established security, change, and governance standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Complies with all policies and standards

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. preferred or
• Equivalent professional work experience. preferred
• 2-4 years Hands-on ServiceNow administration or configuration experience.
• Working knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and experience with users, groups, roles, forms, catalog items, workflows/Flow Designer, reports, and dashboards.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Basic familiarity with ServiceNow scripting, integrations, or APIs is helpful; advanced development experience is not required.
• Demonstrates a forward-looking mindset by proactively identifying opportunities to leverage AI, intelligent automation, and emerging ServiceNow capabilities to improve processes, user experience, and operational efficiency.
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and enterprise IT service management environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to partner with stakeholders, understand requirements, evaluate alternatives, and reach consensus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to platform stability, security, documentation, and data quality.
• Must be US citizen
