The IT Project Manager leads the full lifecycle of technical projects from initial scoping and requirements gathering through execution and delivery. They are responsible for reviewing and testing code to ensure quality standards are met while managing timelines and removing project blockers.

About the Role
The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving technical projects from concept through delivery within MyEmployment IT department. This is a hands-on leadership role that bridges business needs and technical execution — translating stakeholder goals into clear, actionable requirements, scoping project work, and reviewing and testing code to ensure quality and functionality throughout the development process. This role is ideal for someone who has technical fluency to read and evaluate code and the organizational skill to scope projects, manage timelines, and keep cross-functional work on track.
What You'll Be Responsible For
You will lead the full lifecycle of IT projects — from initial scoping and requirements gathering through execution and delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. You will review and test code produced by the engineering team to ensure quality, functionality, and adherence to technical standards before releases move forward. You will identify risks, manage timelines, and remove blockers that threaten project delivery. You will maintain clear documentation of project scope, requirements, and progress, and communicate status updates to leadership.
What You'll Manage
The IT Project Manager will oversee project delivery across the company's IT department, working directly with the Software Engineer to ensure code quality, project scope, and delivery timelines are met.
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role is demonstrated through projects delivered on time and within scope, clean and well-tested code moving through the pipeline, and clear requirements that reduce rework and miscommunication.
Preferred Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, software development, or a related technical leadership role
• Demonstrated ability to review and test code for quality and functionality
• Strong experience scoping technical projects and building out detailed requirements
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
