Title: IT PMO Analyst Governance Analyst

About the Role:
The ideal candidate has experience supporting IT audit, governance, compliance, internal controls, or audit remediation initiatives and is comfortable coordinating across technical, business, audit, and leadership stakeholders. This individual will help ensure audit findings, corrective actions, risks, and dependencies are accurately tracked through successful closure while providing leadership with timely, accurate, and actionable reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Track and manage Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) through successful closure.
- Support governance activities across multiple IT audit remediation workstreams.
- Develop and maintain executive dashboards, reports, metrics, and briefing materials using Power BI, Excel, and Microsoft Office.
- Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, dependencies, schedule impacts, and escalation items.
- Facilitate governance meetings, audit working groups, workshops, and stakeholder coordination sessions.
- Coordinate with control owners, system teams, PMO leadership, auditors, and subject matter experts to collect, validate, and report remediation status.
- Maintain governance documentation, action item logs, decision logs, SOPs, and other project artifacts.
- Support responses to internal and external DAF taskings.
- Assist with tracking audit remediation milestones and validating completion of assigned actions.
- Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, governance processes, and reporting standards.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, workflow automation, and PMO processes using Microsoft technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience supporting PMO, IT PMO, IT audit, governance, compliance, or audit remediation initiatives.
- Experience supporting a PMO or IT PMO.
- Experience supporting IT audit, audit remediation, governance, compliance, internal controls, or risk management initiatives.
- Experience tracking Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs), Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), audit findings, risks, issues, and remediation activities.
- Experience preparing executive dashboards, reports, briefing materials, and status updates.
- Experience supporting governance meetings and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Department of Defense (DoD) experience.
- Department of the Air Force (DAF) experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Experience supporting FIAR, FISCAM, OMB A-123, audit readiness, or IT audit remediation initiatives.
- Experience supporting internal controls, governance, compliance, or risk management programs.
- Experience developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and executive reporting.
- Experience with SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Power Automate.
- Experience coordinating across technical, business, audit, and compliance stakeholders.
- Experience supporting executive governance forums and leadership reporting.
