IT Director (Part-time)

At Magoya, we’re looking for an experienced Director of Information Technology (IT) to join our team under a staff augmentation model, collaborating directly with one of our international clients in the agtech industry.

This strategic role requires a hands-on IT leader with strong technical expertise and proven experience managing complex technology environments, driving innovation, and ensuring secure, scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the IT function, including strategy development and team leadership.

Oversee enterprise technology infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Manage vendor relationships and negotiate technology service contracts.

Drive digital transformation initiatives and technology roadmap planning.

Ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.Collaborate with executive leadership on technology strategy and budgeting.

Oversee network architecture and infrastructure management.

Manage IT budget and resource allocation.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles.

Proven track record managing enterprise-level technology environments.

Experience leading IT teams and cross-functional technology projects.

Technical Skills (Required)

SaaS Administration: Extensive experience managing and optimizing SaaS platforms.

AWS Cloud Services: Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and management.

Network Management: Strong understanding of enterprise network design, security, and optimization.

Contract Negotiation: Proven ability to manage and negotiate technology vendor contracts.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Master’s degree preferred.

Relevant certifications (AWS, Google Cloud, Security) are a plus.
