About the Role
 
We are seeking an experienced IT Business Application Manager to oversee, support, and continuously improve our ERP, e‑commerce, and core IT systems. The ideal candidate brings
strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Shopify (or similar e‑commerce platforms), and a solid understanding of IT operations and the software development life cycle.
This role requires flexibility to collaborate with a global team, including alignment with North American colleagues.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
ERP & E-Commerce Support
  • Provide L1 and L2 support for the ERP (Business Central), escalating issues to an external support partner as required.
  • Provide L1 and L2 support for the e‑commerce platform (Shopify or equivalent), escalating to external partners when necessary.
  • Train business users on ERP and e‑commerce platform functionality and best practices.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are being effectively used to solve business problems and answer operational questions.
IT Operations & Infrastructure
  • Provide L1 and L2 support for general IT infrastructure issues before escalating to third‑party support partners.
Business Enablement & Project Coordination
  • Work with business units to understand requirements and translate them into effective system configurations or enhancements.
  • Partner with external web development agencies to implement new business initiatives, site enhancements, and integrations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring technology solutions align with business strategy.
 
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in IT application management, business systems administration, or a related role.
  • Strong operational and administrative knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Hands-on experience administering a Shopify storefront or a similar e-commerce platform.
  • Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • General understanding of IT operations, including infrastructure concepts and support models.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
 
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Based in or near Sydney, Australia.
  • Experience working in the medical cannabis industry.
  • Experience supporting or participating in financial audits.
  • Background with financial ERP modules or finance-related workflows and processes
