Irrigation Systems Design Assistant

This is a remote position.

Supporting the delivery of technical design projects, this role focuses on generating irrigation system layouts, detail cluster designs, and pumphouse configurations. Working approximately 30 to 40 hours per month, this part-time remote position contributes directly to turning core concepts into precise engineering-style documentation and reports.

Training will be provided on the irrigation design aspect of the role, offering an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong foundation in technical reporting and design principles to develop specialized expertise within a niche field.

Key Responsibilities

·        Produce accurate design documentation for irrigation systems, detail clusters, and pumphouses.

·        Compile clear, structured engineering-style reports based on system designs.

·        Prepare comprehensive installation documentation to support project delivery.

·        Utilize dedicated design software and office tools to execute technical requirements.

Requirements

   Proven ability to prepare engineering-style reports and technical documentation.

·        Access to a personal computer or laptop meeting the necessary technical specifications for design software.

·        Background in mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, civil engineering, or a related technical field.

Desirable Requirements

·        Background or foundational knowledge in mechanical, agricultural, or civil engineering disciplines.
