You Are: Inventory Configuration Specialist

The Work:

Responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting Oracle Cloud ERP Inventory Management functionality. This role enables accurate item setup, material‑movement processing, inventory controls, and end‑to‑end integration with supply‑chain and finance modules. The Specialist plays a hands‑on role in translating operational requirements into system configurations that ensure stability, data accuracy, compliance, and optimized warehouse and inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure Oracle Inventory components including items, catalogs, item attributes, units of measure, item templates, and lifecycle states
  • Set up and maintain inventory structures such as subinventories, locators, cost groups, material‑status rules, and reservations
  • Support configuration of lot and serial controls, expiration attributes, and compliance‑driven tracking requirements
  • Maintain transaction setup for receipts, issues, transfers, cycle counts, physical inventory, and adjustments
  • Ensure integration of inventory configuration with Purchasing, Order Management, Manufacturing, Cost Management, and Warehouse Management
  • Translate functional and operational requirements into accurate, scalable ERP configurations
  • Support testing cycles, troubleshooting, and functional‑specification development
  • Maintain documentation for configuration, testing, and operational workflows

Here’s What You Need:

  • Hands‑on experience configuring Oracle Inventory (Oracle Cloud ERP strongly preferred)
  • Solid understanding of inventory processes, supply‑chain operations, and warehouse controls
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into system configurations
  • Experience with test management, issue resolution, and functional documentation
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Bonus Points If:

  • Experience supporting cross‑module supply‑chain processes (Purchasing, OM, Costing, Manufacturing)
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud inventory extensions, REST/SOAP APIs, or warehouse automation integrations
  • Experience in high‑volume or compliance‑driven inventory environments
  • Skills in Oracle Financials
  • Skills in Oracle Inventory Management

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
