About the Role

The Internal Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and monitoring projects from inception through closure, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor projects to ensure results have an articulated scope with quantifiable business benefit; assist stakeholders to define success metrics and criteria for projects
  • Apply project management best practices, methodologies, documentation, and tools informed by current market trends; create and maintain project documentation including project charters and plans specifying goals, execution approach, staffing, and scheduling
  • Coordinate activities of project resources to ensure projects progress on schedule, within budget, and in line with accepted requirements; assist with risk management and facilitate change control for projects
  • Facilitate project meetings using engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations; prepare and deliver project status reports, keeping project sponsors and teams informed of status, issues, and risks
  • Develop communication plans and deliver timely, effective updates to all identified audiences; actively work with stakeholders to resolve conflicts and deliver actionable resolutions
  • Partner cross-functionally to align project resources, resolve competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement in project management practices and delivery outcomes

Role Essentials

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with practical experience as a Project Manager successfully managing projects; demonstrated practical knowledge and experience with Project Management methodologies
  • Good experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Products; practical experience using Project Management tools and methodologies
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good facilitation and project management skills; good ability to develop and use engaging, informative, and compelling presentation methodologies; demonstrated success in managing technology projects
  • Good collaborative skills applied successfully within a team and across other areas; demonstrated ability to influence, motivate, and mobilize team members and business partners; good conflict management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
