About the Role
As an Intermediate Developer, you'll design, build, and maintain scalable software features as part of a collaborative product-engineering team. You'll work closely with senior developers, product managers, and designers, contributing across the full development lifecycle from design through deployment. This role is a strong fit for someone who wants to keep sharpening their craft, take ownership of real features, and grow alongside a team that moves fast and builds things that matter.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development (70%)
Design, build, and implement application features based on product specifications and technical design
Maintain and improve our existing codebase through refactoring, bug fixes, and technical debt reduction
Write unit, integration, and automated tests, and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability across development and staging environments
Review peer code, provide thoughtful feedback, and help the team adopt best practices for maintainability and quality
Teamwork & Collaboration (30%)
Actively participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions
Partner with product managers on requirements, prioritization, and trade-offs
Coordinate with front-end, back-end, and DevOps developers on delivery
Work with designers on UX/UI alignment and design hand-offs
Key Qualifications
Demonstrated working experience in software development, focused on delivering high-quality software
Have delivered at least one feature end-to-end in collaboration with other developers
Strong understanding of relational databases and how they're used in software development
Comfortable working with .NET
Basic understanding of REST APIs and their role in web development
Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Bonus
Experience delivering SaaS software in an agile environment
Experience collaborating with product managers to define and clarify requirements and ensure successful delivery
Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs
Experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting code on Azure in a professional or enterprise environment
Understanding of authentication and authorization best practices for RESTful services
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
