- Engage stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and small facilitated sessions; synthesize input into clear insights and slides.
- Translate technical and financial findings into concise, accessible memos, case studies, and reports tailored to technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Manage tasks and mini‑projects: create work plans, track progress, manage risks, and keep deliverables on time and on budget.
- Support development proposals: work with a team to develop high quality proposals.
- Collaborate day‑to‑day with engineers and policy/strategy staff; escalate issues early and participate in quality reviews.
- Pitch in where needed across FRESCo projects and services.
What you bring

- Relevant education (engineering, planning, public policy, economics, building science, or related field).
- Proven research & writing: you can efficiently turn complex information into crisp, action‑oriented written content.
- Hands‑on project coordination: schedules, RAID logs, stakeholder lists, and version control are second nature.
- Working knowledge of building decarbonization/retrofit technologies and public‑sector/utility program levers.
- Data fluency in Excel (pivoting, lookup formulas, structured templates); comfort with AI tools to accelerate research and drafting is a plus.
- Adaptability to jump between topics and deliverables in a fast‑moving consulting environment.
