Interim Onboarding & Offboarding Supervisor (Volunteer/Remote)

At ARO, we are dedicated to supporting personal healing and overall well-being by providing education, resources, and support for survivors of 21 different forms of abuse, including domestic violence, bullying, workplace abuse, financial abuse, and human trafficking. Through ARO and Norm Therapy, individuals can access healing services, become trained Norm Therapists®, volunteer, join our community, and help make a meaningful impact in the lives of victims and survivors worldwide through advocacy and financial support.

Human Resources – Abuse Refuge Org

• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and team members.

• Collaborate with HR Talent Acquisition leadership to improve and streamline onboarding and offboarding processes.

• Oversee daily department operations, ensure timely completion of documentation and tasks, and coordinate with managers across departments regarding new team members.

• Partner with HR on best practices, global initiatives, volunteer offboarding, and performance feedback while attending monthly team meetings and completing additional duties as assigned.

• Attend team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred; SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification a plus.

• Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and workplace policies preferred.

• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize, delegate, and thrive in fast-paced environments.

• Must be available to volunteer 12-15 hours a week.

• Based in the USA and able to work set hours (neg).
