Job Description

 Responsibilities And What You Will Do:

  • Provide leadership, support, advocacy, and vision to onboarding and offboarding coordinators and support staff

  • Work in collaboration with the On & Offboarding Manager and HR Talent Acquisition leadership team

  • Oversee a team working in Onboarding and Offboarding

  • Develop new strategies and programs to streamline the onboarding and offboarding process

  • Ensure all necessary documentation is recorded for new volunteers and tasks among team members are completed on time. 

  • Work with the offboarding team to remove inactive volunteers from all platforms

  • Communicate with managers in other departments about new team members.

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.

  • Work closely with the HR Department to share best practices, provide assistance on critical needs, and coordinate global-level initiatives.

  • Attend monthly team meeting on the second Tuesday of each month at 12:30pm EST.

  • Provide constructive and timely performance feedback.  

  • Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field a plus.

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.

  • Understanding of applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (a plus).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Must be available to volunteer 10-15 hours a week.
