We are currently looking to hire an Integration & Automation Engineer, Associate to join our Corporate team! This position allows for remote work within the United States.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Integration & Automation Engineer, Associate is an early-career technologist building toward full ownership of Concentric's integration and automation work. Working closely with the CIO and a designated technical point of contact, this person will learn the company's systems, contribute to integrations and automations across the technology stack, and grow into independent ownership of the prototype-to-production pipeline and related project management and compliance responsibilities over their first year, ultimately connecting the company's information systems into a cohesive ecosystem, streamlining operations through automation, and carrying emerging concepts like AI and agentic product development from proof of concept to reliable, production-grade systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the design, build, and maintenance of integrations, automations, and API connections between systems in the current and future technology stack, with guidance from the CIO or designated point of contact.
  • Contribute to the prototype-to-production pipeline for software applications and agentic products and workflows, with full ownership phased in as experience grows. 
  • Research, evaluate, and help prototype emerging technologies, including AI models, agent platforms, agentic workflows, and support the design of appropriate solutions based on business needs and technical requirements. 
  • Serve as the designated project manager for assigned projects in the TechOps Project Portfolio, following the Technology team's standardized project management procedures.
  • Learn and help apply systems and software development lifecycle practices aligned with ISO 27001 and ISO 27701, participating in related activities under guidance. 
  • Communicate with co-workers, management, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Conform to and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or comparable experience
  • Proficiency with at least one modern server-side programming language and with fundamental front-end web technologies
  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational database technologies
  • Experience designing, building, or consuming APIs and system integrations
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, modern AI development tools, and agentic system design
  • Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and cloud platform fundamentals
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Preferred: exposure to industry-standard information security and privacy frameworks such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27701
