The professional will research and assess regulatory compliance for Medicare insurance products, specifically focusing on Dual Eligible members. They will partner with internal stakeholders to ensure product documents, contracts, and marketing materials remain compliant with federal and state regulations.
As an Insurance Product Compliance Professional 2 you will:
Partner with internal stakeholders and assist with upcoming deliverables; product-specific documents, contracts, licenses, member communications or marketing materials, all while safeguarding Humana's brand.
Support maintenance of compliant insurance products in collaboration with responsible business owners.
Understand department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating goals, including their linkages to related areas.
Make decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and require minimal direction and receive guidance where needed.
Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required:
3+ years' experience working with Medicare Advantage and/or Medicaid plans
1+ years' experience summarizing complex information and tailor communication based on audience (i.e., contracts, federal and state regulations)
Ability to work independently while maintaining focus and managing deliverables to meet critical internal and external deadlines
Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe
Preferred:
Compliance experience
Experience working with State Agencies
Understanding of State and Federal Regulations
Experience specific to Dual Eligible members and healthcare plans for MA DSNP product offerings
Additional Information:
Extended hours may be required based on business needs during the departmental peak season, typically May through July.
If selected to move forward in the interview process, you will participate in a case study to assess critical thinking, regulatory reasoning, risk judgement, and structed recommendations in the context of Medicare Advantage DSNP Products.
