Job Status: Part-time (REMOTE)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary:  $28.00 per hour
Campus Location: Brampton Campus 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver course content in accordance with approved curriculum and program outcomes
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials using appropriate adult-learning methodologies
  • Monitor, assess, and document student progress; provide feedback and guidance as required
  • Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and academic records within established timelines
  • Participate in curriculum review, instructional evaluations, and program improvement initiatives
  • Communicate course-related concerns or operational issues to the Campus Director/Coordinator
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices and emerging trends
  • Ensure professional conduct consistent with institutional standards and student support values
  • Arrange make-up classes when required and update course materials as necessary

 

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in counseling or addictions support (non-teaching)
  • Instructional or facilitation experience preferred
  • Train-the-Trainer or equivalent instructional certification considered an asset
  • Certifications such as  CPR, ASIST, Suicide Intervention, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention preferred
  • Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification considered an asset
  • Demonstrated communication, facilitation, and student engagement skills
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
