Currently, RG is looking to hire an Instructional Designer. The Instructional Designer is an exempt customer-facing business professional that will identify the performance, skills, knowledge, information, and attitude gaps of a targeted audience and create, select and/or suggest learning experiences to fill this gap.
Additionally, the Instructional Designer:
Designs and executes knowledge transfer initiatives for the US Air Force, including the creation, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive documentation.
Designs and develops online course content tailored to meet organizational objectives and learner requirements, ensuring accessibility and engagement.
Creates engaging and effective learning materials, such as presentations, instructional videos, and interactive exercises, to enhance the learning experience.
Collaborates with subject matter experts, educators, and stakeholders to ensure all learning resources are accurate, high-quality, and aligned with current needs and standards.
Assesses the effectiveness of learning and training materials by collecting feedback and analyzing data, making continuous improvements to optimize learning outcomes.
QualificationsRequired Skills
The Instructional Designer is an experienced professional who possesses excellent customer service skills, remains current on industry trends, values teamwork, and has a wide range of interpersonal skills. They will also be able to demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to deliver high quality documentation that pays attention to detail
The ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
The ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences
Prioritization and multi-tasking skills
Required Experience
To be successful in this role, all candidates must meet the below qualifications to be considered.
4+ years of teaching, training, or web designing experience
Proven working experience in technical writing of software documentation
Familiarity with design and learning programs (Adobe, Photoshop, Flash, etc.)
Excellent communication and graphic design skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
Ability to operate effectively in remote/hybrid team environments
NACI or ability to obtain
