Purpose:

The Installation Engineer (ISE) position will lead technical implementations of Lunit’s breast cancer screening and diagnostic software with health systems across the country. The ISE is responsible for guiding customers, troubleshooting issues, maintaining best practices, coaching other team members, and working with product teams on feature enhancements. They will interact with healthcare clients and integrate with EHRs. 


What you'll be doing: 

  • Support pre-sales activities through direct customer interaction, respond to requests for technical information, including Lunit International’s approaches to information security and privacy in addition to technical implementation.
  • Coach customer analyst teams through Epic build and set up especially in Radiant, Interfaces, and Ambulatory.
  • Actively manage the system design.
  • Process and install Lunit International systems. 
  • Configure the system in the client’s computer environment.
  • Develop the interface and integration components. 
  • Perform functional and end-to-end workflow process testing. 
  • Improve processes for implementations and train colleagues. 
  • Support the customer onboarding process by being responsible for installing, monitoring and updating on-premises systems, including training onsite IT staff as required by the customer.
  • Work directly with customers and the Customer Success and Software Engineering Teams to resolve customer impacting issues. 


What you will bring to the role: 

  • Minimum five years customer contact experience, or equivalent. 
  • Epic Radiant, Interfaces, and Ambulatory experience.
  • SQL knowledge regarding backups, restores and permissions. 
  • IT networking experience and ability to work with customer IT departments to resolve detailed networking issues. Explaining, in technical detail, terms like SSL, HTIP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, subnets, Firewalls, switches, TCP/IP won't cause any hesitation or stumble. 
  • Experience with Windows Server and Linux Servers. Experience with Windows desktops and tablets. 
  • Working understanding of remote connectivity software such as SecureLink, RDP, Citrix, and Cisco VPN.
  • Minimum five years technical customer service in the medical device industry. Possessing an understanding of terms like Modalities, DICOM, PACS, HL7 and RIS. 
  • A willingness to periodically work scheduled evenings or weekends.
  • Ability to work with teams in different time zones and diverse geographic locations including United States, New Zealand and South Korea. As a result, an Eastern time zone location is preferred. 
  • Experience configuring virtual machines preferable.
  • Experience administering Microsoft Windows preferable. 


What you will receive:

The salary range for this role is $75,000 - $105,000 per annum, full time equivalent. Benefits include the option to participate in medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances; a 401K plan with a company match; and generous paid time off.


Other things to note:

  •  US Eastern time zone location or ability to work US Eastern Time Zone hours is preferred.
  • This role will be hybrid if the successful applicant lives within commuting distance of our US office (Lynnwood, WA). For candidates outside this location, the role will be fully remote.
  • Candidates must currently have the right to work in the United States to apply.
  • Lunit International operates across multiple time zones, and this role may occasionally require working outside of standard business hours to support international staff or team collaboration. We offer flexible scheduling to help balance these needs with personal commitments/work life balance.
