Information Design Artist

DRC is widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier trial strategy and data analysis firms. For nearly 30 years, leading law firms and high-profile litigators have relied on DRC to deliver a measurable strategic advantage in the courtroom. Our work spans jury selection, focus groups, demonstrative evidence, and trial presentation—grounded in social psychology, rigorous research methodologies, and advanced information design.

We are seeking a full-time, remote Information Design Artist with advanced illustration experience to join our growing Art Department. This role is central to translating complex legal arguments and data into clear, persuasive visual narratives used in focus groups and high-stakes trials.

This is not a traditional Monday–Friday, 9–5 role. Our work is driven by active litigation schedules, which require consistent shift-based availability, including evenings, late nights, and weekends. Candidates should be comfortable operating in a structured but nontraditional schedule environment with predictable, assigned shifts.

What You’ll Do

  • Transform complex concepts, case materials, and data into compelling visual presentations
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys, consultants, and internal teams to develop clear visual strategies
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Execute within established visual standards while adapting to case-specific needs
  • Contribute to high-impact deliverables used in real trial settings

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of professional design experience
  • Advanced vector illustration skills (minimum 2+ years)
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working within a structured shift schedule that includes nights and weekends
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (<15% annually, up to ~3 weeks at a time)

Benefits

DRC is committed to attracting and retaining exceptional talent by supporting long-term professional growth and success. We are proud to offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a generous PTO policy, a 401(k) retirement plan, and additional benefits available to full-time employees.

Compensation: $75,000 annual base salary, with additional discretionary performance-based bonus eligibility

DRC is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibit discrimination and harassment of any kind without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
