This remote role must reside in the US, near a major metro airport. 65% + travel to be expected nationwide. 


Responsibilities:

As an Industry Principal, you are the strategic linchpin connecting our customers, our sales teams, and our product innovation.

 

Drive Sales & Customer Success

  • Be the Expert in the Room: Join our elite IMPACT sales team on high-value opportunities. You'll be the go-to expert, helping to qualify leads and accelerate deals to the finish line.
  • Solve Real-World Problems: Engage directly with clients to analyze their workflows, pinpoint critical pain points, and design transformative solutions that boost efficiency and drive a powerful ROI.
  • Craft Winning Proposals: Connect customer needs to Zebra's cutting-edge portfolio. You'll lead the charge in creating compelling, executive-level proposals by collaborating with internal teams like Strategy, Marketing, and Product Management.
  • Become a Trusted Advisor: Build lasting relationships that go beyond a single sale, establishing yourself and Zebra as indispensable partners in our customers' success.

Empower Our Teams

  • Be a Strategic Force: Provide your industry expertise to guide RFP responses, product demonstrations, and high-stakes deal strategies.

  • Represent Us at the Forefront: Own the room at industry events, partner conferences, and customer advisory boards, gathering insights and representing the voice of the market.
  • Influence Our Future: Guide our internal Strategy, Marketing, and Product Development teams with your unique insights into the competitive landscape and GTM (Go-to-Market) solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Table:

  • Deep Industry DNA: 8+ years of experience in the Transportation & Logistics industry, either in-house or as a consultant.
  • Executive Presence: The ability to instantly connect with and build credibility among senior executives, diagnosing their needs and becoming a trusted problem-solver.
  • Go-to-Market Mastery: Subject matter expertise in GTM best practices and a solid understanding of the sales, marketing, and business processes that drive success in the T&L industry.
  • Leadership & Energy: A proven ability to energize, lead, and inspire others.
  • Road Warrior Mentality: Willingness to travel approximately 65-75% of the time to be where it matters most—with our customers and partners.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of T&L (Transportation & Logistic) industry specific experience working internally within a customer base.
  • Must reside in the US, near a major airport, with the ability to travel 65-75% nationwide

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

 

  • Ability to quickly engage senior-level executives at current client companies by building relationships, establishing credibility, conducting substantive content discussions, diagnosing needs, solving problems, and identifying relevant resources.
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for GTM best practices within T&L 
  • Ability to demonstrate understanding of sales, marketing, finance, and business processes related to GTM programs in T&L  
  • Full knowledge of all relevant business policies and practices; strong ability to energize and lead others.

Salary: USD 144200.00 - USD 216200.00 Yearly


Salary offered will vary depending on your location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
Additionally, all Zebra roles are eligible for cash incentive programs. For example, sales roles have additional opportunity to earn substantial variable compensation tied to quota achievement. In most other roles, the Zebra annual cash incentive program links Company and individual performance together. Some roles may also be eligible for long-term incentive equity awards.
