The Industry Analyst will research and track e-commerce and performance marketing trends to produce high-quality content that establishes the company as a thought leader. They will also analyze internal campaign data and platform changes to create actionable insights for clients and sales collateral.

We're looking for a sharp, curious analyst to become one of the go-to voices on e-commerce and performance marketing trends. This candidate can dig into data, spot what's changing in the industry, and turn it into content that builds Odyssey's reputation and pipeline.
Job Responsibilities:
Research and track trends across e-commerce, DTC, paid media, and creative to identify timely, share-worthy insights
Write articles, LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and reports that establish Odyssey as a thought leader in performance marketing
Analyze platform changes (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.) and translate them into digestible takeaways for clients and prospects
Mine internal campaign data and case studies for stats, benchmarks, and stories that can be turned into content
Collaborate with leadership and account teams to surface content ideas from real client work
Build and maintain a regular content calendar/cadence across owned channels (blog, LinkedIn, newsletter)
Support the creation of sales collateral, decks, and one-pagers grounded in original data or research
Monitor competitors and industry publications to keep Odyssey's point of view sharp and differentiated
Track content performance (engagement, reach, inbound leads) and iterate based on what resonates
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
2-4 years of experience in a research, analyst, content marketing, or communications role, ideally at an agency, media company, or e-commerce brand
Strong writing skills with the ability to turn data into clear, engaging narratives
Comfortable working with data (spreadsheets, campaign dashboards, platform reporting) to find the story
Genuine interest in e-commerce, DTC brands, and digital marketing trends
Self-starter who can independently source, research, and ship content with minimal oversight
Can-do attitude is a must; this is a start-up that requires you to wear many hats and deal with a certain level of day-to-day uncertainty
Experience with tools like Notion, Motion, and LinkedIn analytics a plus
Compensation and Benefits:
$65,000 - $90,000
