Palmetto Advisors builds and supports websites for South Carolina small businesses. We think the shop down the street deserves a site as good as any big company's. We're looking for well-connected locals to introduce us to owners who could use one.

You work independently, on your own schedule and your own way. When you introduce us to an owner, our Columbia team takes it from there, handling pricing, closing, the build and ongoing support.

How partners work with us

• Spot local businesses with no website, or one that's holding them back

• Introduce them to Palmetto and answer basic questions about who we are

• Hand interested owners to our solutions engineer, who handles pricing, closes the sale, and works with our team on the build and ongoing support. You never quote a price or make promises.

Partners who do well

• You know local business owners, and they trust you

• You're comfortable starting conversations and maintaining relationships

• Experience in sales, insurance, banking, real estate or bookkeeping helps

• It helps to be active in your chamber, Rotary, BNI or another local group

Where

You must live in South Carolina. We're looking for partners in communities across the state, including Columbia, Lexington, Charleston, North Charleston, Mount Pleasant, Summerville, Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson, Rock Hill, Lancaster, Myrtle Beach, Conway, Florence, Sumter, Hartsville, Aiken, Greenwood, Orangeburg, Beaufort and Hilton Head. You'll introduce us to owners in your own community, the people who already know and trust you. Live somewhere else in SC? Apply anyway and tell us why your community needs us.

How it works

• Independent contractor (1099). Set your own hours. No quotas, no scripts.

• You can earn 3x the monthly fee of every client you close (signed agreement and first payment received). It's earned over the client's first 12 months and paid on the schedule in your contractor agreement. If a client cancels in that window, any amount paid but not yet earned is offset against your future commissions. The contractor agreement controls.

• We're also building optional bonus programs that reward partners when the clients they introduce stay with us. Any program will be offered in writing before it applies.

Before you apply

Independent contractor, not employment. This is an independent contractor engagement under a written contractor agreement. You set your own hours and methods, you may work for others, and you are paid by commission. Nothing on this page is an offer of employment or a contract.

The agreement controls. Commission amounts, when they are earned, and the 12-month clawback are set out in the contractor agreement. If anything on this page differs from the agreement, the agreement controls.

South Carolina only. You must live in South Carolina. We are not taking applications from other states.

18 or older. You must be 18 or older to enter into a contractor agreement.

No fees, ever. We never charge applicants or contractors a fee, and we never ask you to buy anything to apply or to work with us. If anyone claiming to be Palmetto asks you for money, it is not us.
