The Imaging Administrator provides technical and operational support for imaging informatics systems including PACS, RIS, and cardiology applications. They collaborate with clinical departments and vendors to ensure efficient imaging workflows and system reliability across the enterprise.
The Imaging Administrator serves as the primary technical and operational support resource for all imaging informatics systems across the San Antonio market. This includes Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS), voice recognition platforms, critical results management tools, and cardiology imaging applications.
This role ensures imaging workflows function efficiently and reliably to support clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and exceptional patient care. The Imaging Administrator partners closely with Radiology, Cardiology, clinical departments, vendor support teams, and IS leadership to maintain, optimize, and enhance imaging technology across the enterprise.
