ILM Manager

We are looking for an Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Manager to act as an owner representative for our client. This role will be responsible for supporting our client’s ILM governance process for reviewing and approving capital projects & leases and will be accountable for partnering with project teams to ensure readiness for monthly governance meetings.

Position Overview:

The ILM Manager will partner with all internal multi-functional group/internal business partners that support capital projects, including Engineering Technical Authority, Project Management, Facilities Management, Site Engineering, Capital Finance, Property Accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review & update capital authorization requests and partner with multiple capital & lease project teams to ensure readiness for monthly project review & governance meetings
• Prepare concise, executive ready written communications for capital governance committees
• Lead cross functional meetings with project teams to ensure concise, accurate and complete capital authorization request.
• Identify and lead continuous improvement activities, including process simplification / streamlining & automation activities to drive ILM duration reductions and efficiency
• Update Investment Lifecycle Management (ILM) Guidelines and associated training materials
• Understand of ILM related Global Finance Policies and Procedures to provide guidance to project teams and ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated construction project delivery skills, in a Project Manager or Project Controls Manager
• Experience of Capital Planning and Capital Project Approvals process
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – at various levels of the organization
• Ability to progress actions on multiple fronts with multiple different cross functional project teams, with tenacity and flexibility
• Proficiency in digital tools/AI
• Preferred Experience:
• Portfolio Management experience
• Experience working for a client organization in the above areas
• Pharma/biotech experience
