IBM FileNet Developer with FileNet CMOD and Document Processing

Position Summary

 
 Seeking a Senior Application Designer to support enterprise document management systems, including IBM FileNet, Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD), IBM Content Navigator, and Formworks.
 This role is responsible for end-to-end document processing, from scanning and preprocessing through ingestion, storage, and retrieval.
 This is a hybrid role requiring both application development and system administration responsibilities.
 The ideal candidate is hands-on and solution-oriented, with experience designing, developing, and modifying ECM components, including FileNet, CMOD, and IBM Content Navigator, and supporting enterprise applications across development, middleware, and production environments.

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ECM solutions using FileNet, CMOD, and IBM Content Navigator
 • Create, configure, and modify FileNet, CMOD and IBM Content Navigator ECM components, including:
 o FileNet object stores, classes, metadata models, and workflows
 o CMOD application groups, folders, and indexing configurations
 o IBM Content Navigator desktops, repositories, plug-ins, viewers, and integrations
 • Support the full document lifecycle:
 o Scanning (Formworks)
 o Preprocessing (C# services)
 o FileNet ingestion and CMOD archiving
 • Develop, maintain and troubleshoot Java and .NET (C#) applications
 • Develop and maintain web services for FileNet, CMOD and IBM Content Navigator deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server
 • Administer and troubleshoot clustered, load-balanced ECM environments, including routing, availability, and performance issues across nodes
 • Support Formworks scanning system and document capture workflows
 • Perform production support and system administration tasks, including:
 o Incident resolution
 o Root cause analysis
 o Performance tuning
 o Software patching and upgrades
 o Providing off-hours support (evenings and weekends) for production systems
 • Write and execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and reporting
 • Utilize ServiceNow to manage incidents, access requests, and change requests
 • Document requirements, design, and testing using ALM tools
 • Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and documentation standards
 • Collaborate with business, infrastructure, business analysts, QA/testing, and operations teams

 Required Qualifications
 • Experience in both application development and system administration/support
 • Strong experience with:
 o IBM FileNet P8
 o IBM Content Manager OnDemand (CMOD)
 o IBM Content Navigator (ICN)
 • Demonstrated ability to:
 o Design, create, and modify FileNet, CMOD, and IBM Content Navigator components
 o Configure and enhance ICN desktops, plug-ins, and integrations
 o Implement workflows, metadata models, and document lifecycle processes
 • Proficiency in:
 o Java and C# (.NET)
 o SQL and scripting
 • Experience with Subversion (SVN) for version control
 • Strong knowledge of:
 o Oracle (SQL, query optimization)
 o SQL Server (Formworks support)
 • Experience supporting IBM WebSphere Application Server, including:
 o Deployment and support of FileNet, CMOD and IBM Content Navigator web services
 o Troubleshooting connectivity, performance, and integration issues
 • Experience supporting clustered, high-availability systems, including:
 o FileNet, CMOD and IBM Content Navigator environments accessed via load-balanced URLs
 • Experience with Formworks or similar document capture systems
 • Experience with ServiceNow (incident, access, change management)
 • Experience using ALM tools for requirements, design, and testing documentation
 • Willingness and ability to provide off-hours support (evenings and weekends) for production systems, including issue resolution and implementation of changes
