Human Services Director

Liberty Healthcare is accepting applications for an anticipated opening and full-time Director position.

This role will oversee a new statewide program endeavoring to enhance the quality of Home and Community Based Services for a significant number of older adults, vulnerable individuals, and people who are living with disabilities in Maine.

Program elements will include

• Enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of a statewide critical incident reporting system

• Creating a better experience for those who report complaints and grievances

• Improving the consistency and quality of reviews through inter-rater reliability

• Data analysis and reporting on case progression and remediation

• Preparing for future initiatives – including the creating of a single front door for reporting

Director responsibilities

• Leading with a focus on the best interests of the people we serve

• Directing a start-up initiative

• Establishing and leading a statewide program

• Hiring and managing a team of 12 remote Quality Reviewers

• Fostering collaborative relationships with a wide array of stakeholders

• Establishing a high-performance culture

Schedule

You will work primarily Monday through Friday during daytime hours.

This is a remote position which will allow you to work from your home with occasional travel throughout Maine. Residency within Maine is required.

• Salary range between $125,000 and $150,000 (depending on qualifications)
