Job Title: Project Manager IV – Human Resources
Location: Remote
Work Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead large-scale HR transformation and strategic business initiatives
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and resource plans
- Develop project charters, business cases, implementation roadmaps, and governance plans
- Partner with HR, Payroll, HRIS, IT, Finance, Legal, and business leaders to ensure successful project delivery
- Facilitate executive steering committees, stakeholder meetings, and project status reporting
- Drive organizational change management, communication, training, and adoption strategies
- Support HR initiatives involving compensation, benefits, payroll, employee experience, shared services, organizational design, and HR technology
- Coordinate system implementations, testing, integrations, vendor deliverables, and deployment activities
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices across HR operations
- Monitor project performance while ensuring compliance with governance and organizational standards
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of project management experience leading complex enterprise initiatives
- 5+ years managing Human Resources, HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Experience, or Organizational Transformation projects
- Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent workstreams
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, budgeting, and risk management
- Experience with organizational change management and business process improvement
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet and/or Planview, collaboration platforms, and AI productivity tools
- Exceptional communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion
Preferred Skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience managing enterprise HR technology implementations
- Knowledge of HR operating models and shared services
- Experience supporting executive-level governance and portfolio management
