Reporting to the Head of Global Medical Affairs and Human Factors, you will provide technical and strategic leadership for human factors engineering and usability activities across the product lifecycle. The role partner with cross-functional teams to ensure products, interfaces, labeling, packaging and supporting materials are designed and evaluated with intended users, use environments, and use-related risks in mind. The position leads huma factors planning, research, formative and summative usability studies, prferences and comparative studies, risk-management inputs and preparation of clear, audit-ready documentation for regulated product development and lifecycle changes. In this key strategic and technical leadership role, additional responsibilities will be to ensure collaboration with peer leaders across R&D, Quality, Marketing, Safety, Operations and Regulatory functions as well as any other key stakeholders including those external to embecta.

Competitive base salary based on experience and qualifications: $126,000-140,000 (subject to variation depending on physical location).
Posted salary ranges are provided in good faith. embecta reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the selected candidate’s experience, qualifications, external market conditions, and internal equity considerations.
