HSC Senior English Moderator

Help shape the future of AI-powered education with your HSC English expertise.

We’re looking for experienced HSC English teachers to review and moderate student responses to exam-style questions. Your feedback will help us evaluate and improve AI marking for Education Perfect’s Senior HSC English exam revision content.

This is a short-term, project-based opportunity to apply your teaching expertise to support the development of high quality educational resources and AI-powered marking.

About the project

The project will run from mid October to mid November 2026. You’ll be engaged as an independent contractor, with the flexibility to complete the work around your existing commitments.

Over the course of the project, you’ll be required to commit approximately 10 hours to reviewing and providing feedback on 30 student essay responses.

Payment:

• $60 AUD for completing the onboarding session
• $600 AUD for completing the moderation work

About you

We’re looking for teachers who bring strong subject knowledge, sound assessment judgement and a keen eye for detail.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• At least three years’ experience teaching HSC English to Years 11 and 12 students
• Experience reviewing educational content, assessing student work or providing constructive feedback
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
• Confidence using digital tools and an interest in the role of AI in education
