The HR Specialist Intern will support various HR functions, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR projects, and employee records. The role will work closely with the HR Manager and team to ensure HR processes are handled accurately, efficiently, and in line with company policies.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable handling confidential information, and eager to learn and grow in the field of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
Support employee relations matters, including employee concerns, performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
Communicate and help implement HR, compensation, and benefits policies.
Assist with payroll, time off, time adjustments, reimbursements, bonuses, gift cards, and pay-related concerns.
Process HR documents such as contracts, Certificates of Employment, payslips, offer letters, SLAs, and handbook sign-offs.
Maintain accurate and updated employee records and HR CRM data.
Assist with payroll and time-off reports, audits, and other HR reports.
Track HR projects, assignments, deadlines, and pending tasks.
Coordinate with HR team members and follow up on tasks, concerns, and project roadblocks.
Assist with employee training, HR projects, and other HR initiatives.
Generate employee-related reports and ensure HR data is complete and accurate.
Coordinate with Payroll on PTO, benefits, and other employee-related data.
Respond to HR requests and assist with ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
Assist in ensuring HR processes follow company policies and applicable requirements.
Requirements
Psychology graduate or graduate of a related degree
At least 6 months of HR-related experience or internship experience is acceptable
Able to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Detail-oriented and organized
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn and take on new HR tasks
Comfortable using basic spreadsheets and online tools
Reliable and able to follow HR policies and procedures
Has the ability to quickly grasp new concepts, policies, and procedures, as well as adapt to changing priorities and environments
Technical Requirements
A computer with dual monitor setup is required
Computer with at least 8GB of RAM
Must have at least 25 MBPS internet speed
Camera with at least 1080p resolution
