HR Officer

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to manage core human resources functions across our remote organisation. You will play a key role in talent acquisition support, employee relations, and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, screening, and onboarding
• Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Support line managers with performance management and disciplinary processes
• Administer leave management, attendance tracking, and HR reporting
• Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and company HR policies
• Contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives

Qualifications and Experience

• 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR officer role
• Sound knowledge of South African labour law (BCEA, LRA, EEA)
• Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll platforms
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
• Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field

Salary: R30,000/month | 100% Remote
