Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced HR Officer to manage core human resources functions across our remote organisation. You will play a key role in talent acquisition support, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes including job posting, screening, and onboarding
- Maintain accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Support line managers with performance management and disciplinary processes
- Administer leave management, attendance tracking, and HR reporting
- Handle employee queries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and company HR policies
- Contribute to employee engagement and culture initiatives
Qualifications and Experience
- 3+ years of experience in an HR generalist or HR officer role
- Sound knowledge of South African labour law (BCEA, LRA, EEA)
- Experience with HR information systems (HRIS) and payroll platforms
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or related field
Salary: R30,000/month | 100% Remote
