ESS is seeking a proactive and organized HR & Office Manager to oversee HR and office operations in Gabon. The role will support recruitment, employee administration, compliance, office coordination, and employee engagement while ensuring efficient day-to-day operations in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources
- Manage onboarding, offboarding, contract renewals, and employee records
- Ensure HR compliance with company policies and local labor regulations
- Coordinate recruitment activities and maintain BambooHR ATS records
- Support payroll preparation, benefits administration, and HR reporting
- Assist with performance reviews, employee relations, and career progression follow-up
- Support HR initiatives related to training, engagement, onboarding, and talent management
Office Management
- Oversee daily office operations and administrative activities
- Manage office supplies, invoices, vendors, and general expenses
- Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and internal events
- Ensure office spaces remain organized, operational, and secure
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR, administration, or office management
- Experience with recruitment coordination and HRIS/ATS systems (BambooHR preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Fluent in English and French
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Gabon labor law and HR procedures
- Experience in employee engagement and organizational support
- Additional HR certifications are a plus
