About The Role

We are looking for a Hospitality Partnerships & Business Development Lead to help our Growth team drive strategic partnership development within the luxury and independent hospitality sector.

In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing high-value new business opportunities within the luxury and independent hospitality sector. You'll build relationships with ownership groups, property management companies, and emerging experiential travel brands, converting those relationships into long-term clients. This is an outbound sales role, and success means building a strong pipeline and hitting your number. It’s critical that you have strong relationship-building skills, deep strategic thinking, experience managing complex sales cycles, and a systems-oriented approach to sales operations.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual new business targets aligned with Wallop's growth goals
  • Identify and engage executives and key decision-makers within target hospitality organizations, ownership groups, and management companies
  • Develop and execute outbound growth strategies focused on luxury hospitality portfolios and emerging experiential travel brands
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with strategic partners across the hospitality and travel ecosystem
  • Working as part of the Rev Ops team  to refine CRM workflows, document the sales lifecycle, and improve pipeline tracking and reporting
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure outreach and messaging align with Wallop’s brand and positioning within luxury travel
  • Provide strategic insights to the Executive Team on partnership opportunities, industry trends, and growth initiatives
  • Map ownership structures and identify geographic expansion opportunities aligned with Wallop’s Ideal Client Profile
  • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder conversations with professionalism and a consultative approach

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic sales within hospitality, travel, luxury brands, or related sectors
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with senior executives and ownership groups
  • Experience managing longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and strategic partnerships
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and experience working alongside RevOps teams to improve sales processes
  • Ability to research and map complex ownership and management structures within hospitality portfolios
  • Comfortable operating in a consultative sales environment where credibility and relationship-building are critical
  • Self-motivated and capable of building a sustainable pipeline through a thoughtful outbound strategy

What makes you a great fit:

  • You are smart, curious, and eager to learn
  • You are energized by building new things, whether it’s relationships, a pipeline, or a business
  • You are confident in front of senior executives and know how to earn trust
  • You're as comfortable in a spreadsheet as you are in a cold call
  • You like people, and people like you
  • You’re team-oriented but equally happy to work on solo projects
  • You enjoy problem-solving and finding solutions
  • While you do not need to be based in Vancouver, we do ask that your working hours cross over with our core PST work hours

  • Attend Company town halls and culture-building events as scheduled
  • Represent Wallop at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
  • Participate in mandatory team or department meetings requiring in-person presence
  • Reasonable notice will be provided for all required in-person events
  • Travel required for such events will be covered by Wallop in accordance with Company policy
