The DCX Client Services Home-Based Accounting Manager is a dynamic and detail-oriented accounting role that is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations. You will apply your professional expertise while resolving a variety of accounting matters and you will play a crucial role in managing and supporting our partner's financial operations. WHAT YOU WILL DO 

  • Lead and manage monthly and year-end close processes ensuring timely and accurate transaction financial reporting.  

  • Responsible for the general ledger, preparing account reconciliations, preparing journal entries, and managing financial accruals.  

  • Support payroll accounting activities including payroll entries, tax reporting coordination, and benefit-related accruals 

  • Manage treasury activities including bank reconciliations, positive pay, borrowing base reporting, and cash activity monitoring. 

  • Manage accounts payable and receivables functions performed by outsourced service platform. 

  • Prepare monthly bank borrowing base certificates and other specialized bank and board financial reports, 

  • Assist with budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial reports including the weekly 13-week cashflow projections. 

  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to support external audits, providing financial visibility and operational decision-making.  

  • Support information and responding to questions. 

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.  

  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability within the accounting function. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned 
     

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or any related field.  

  • Experience: 4+ years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience. 

  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 

  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours. 

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software. 

  • Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:    

  • Strong working knowledge using Excel, pivot tables, advanced formulas, etc. 

  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). 

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) are a plus but not required. 

 

Additional Job Requirements:

  • 4 or more years of progressive accounting experience required. 

  • Prior manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred. 

  • Experience managing month-end close and financial reporting processes required. 

  • Technical skills in financial modeling and complex accounting transactions preferred

  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI or other reporting/dashboard tools preferred.

  • Salary Range: Php 83,000  

  • Job Type: Full-time 

  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA) 

  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
