We are seeking a passionate and experienced tech leader to lead our technology team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our tech platform, a SaaS that helps the best companies in the world to translate strategy into execution. Our competitors are Workboard, Quantive and Monday, among others.

As the Head of WWAALL® Tech, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security of our SaaS.

Reporting to the Head of WWAALL®, your expertise will be instrumental in driving our product vision and maintaining our competitive edge in the market.

Tasks

Technical Leadership:

Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the development team, prioritizing tool stability and reliability.

Ensure that the team can effectively identify and resolve technical issues to maintain high software quality and facilitate continuous evolution.

Implement processes and tools for proactive detection and resolution of technical challenges.

Lead product and technology roadmap planning processes, providing input on technological feasibility, risks, and tradeoffs.

Prioritize addressing technical debt and implementing improvements to enhance the scalability, performance, and reliability of software systems.

Keep updated on technology trends to identify emerging solutions for the business. Introduce new technologies and methods to solve problems.

Team Management:

Lead a high-performing technology team.

Cultivate a culture of robust self-accountability within the team, where members take ownership of their tasks and outcomes, driving excellence and achievement.

Provide Clear Direction: Communicate a vision and set clear goals for the team. Ensure that everyone understands their roles and responsibilities within the larger context of the team's mission.

Technology Strategy:

Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business goals and priorities.

Identify opportunities for innovation and guide the development of new products and features.

Develop and manage technology budgets and plans. Provide cost/benefit analysis of technology spending and initiatives.

Collaborate cross-functionally to understand business needs and unit goals.

Architecture and Infrastructure:

Lead selection and implementation of cloud solutions on AWS that enable business growth, cost optimization, and security. Define and govern cloud architecture, utilization, and processes on the AWS platform.

Define and track quality standards, security policies, and system governance practices. Ensure compliance with regulations.

Define and maintain a scalable, secure, and reliable technology architecture that supports business needs and ensures tool stability.

Product planning and design, contributing innovative ideas.

Oversee the design and implementation of systems and infrastructure, emphasizing stability and reliability, while adhering to best practices and achieving high code coverage.

Requirements

Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including prior experience as a CTO or in similar leadership roles.

Strong expertise in PHP, preferably with Laravel framework, with experience applying Clean/Hexagonal Architecture in production.

Strong proficiency in web development in multiple programming languages with special aim for PHP (Laravel framework) and JavaScript, with at least 5 years of professional experience.

Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript, with hands-on experience in Web Components (Lit 3.0 or similar), with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.

Practical experience with Node.js and its ecosystem.

Proficiency in MySQL in multi-tenant environments; PostgreSQL experience is a plus.

Experience designing or operating fine-grained authorization systems (RBAC/ReBAC/ABAC) is a strong plus.

Competency in integrating third-party APIs (Microsoft Graph API, Google APIs, AWS, Stripe, PayPal)

Desirable experience in Domain-Driven Design and Agile Methodologies.

Comfort leading teams that use AI-assisted development workflows as a core practice.

Previous experience in building and scaling highly available SaaS and PaaS platforms.

Ability to develop and execute a long-term technology strategy aligned with business objectives

Excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills.

Fluent English and Spanish are valued
