Salary: £90,000 - £100,000

The Role: 
We are looking for a seasoned Head of Product to join our team, in order to drive product delivery and execution.

You’ll be working with multiple product-led cross-functional teams, with the aim to improve execution speed and delivery of value to users. This is a senior role, with responsibility for managing the product team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management and career development.

This role needs a strong leader who can operate at and sustain high capacity, managing multiple priorities at any one time. Your goal is to optimise our delivery speed and processes, whilst taking the time to learn and understand our complex product.

• Manage the timely delivery of our cross-functional teams, improving execution speed and reducing the time to deliver user value.
• Develop strong working relationships with the Design and Engineering teams.
• Actively contribute to the overall product vision, strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure that projects remain aligned with our product vision, strategy and the wider business goals.
• Own our user-centric business KPIs, driving growth and innovation.
• Create quarterly roadmaps, giving the business and our community insight into what we’re working on now, next and later.
• Improve product processes where necessary, solving problems without adding unnecessary red tape.
• Conduct product research and discovery for new areas of business or novel problems.
• Take responsibility for hiring, onboarding and performance management in our product team.
• Support the product team pastorally and develop the careers of our Product Owners and Managers.

• 8-10 years of product experience, with at least 3+ years leading a product team at a product-led organisation.
• Take a pragmatic approach to delivery, finding user-centric products that are valuable, usable and feasible. 
• Strong data fluency, using analytics, KPIs and user testing to validate opportunities and initiatives. 
• Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, be ruthless with what you can and can’t achieve.
• Master communicator, able to influence without authority in order to get buy-in and align the business with the product strategy.
• Self-learner who pushes themselves to continually improve, with a good level of technical and design knowledge.
• Build trust through transparency and candour.
