We are a rapidly growing organization seeking a dynamic, positive, and servant-minded leader to join our team as our Head of People & Administration.

Position Summary

The Head of People & Administration serves as the leader of EverCare's people strategy and employee experience. This position is responsible for attracting, developing, supporting, and retaining exceptional team members while fostering a culture built on trust, accountability, collaboration, and service.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a startup environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable building programs from the ground up, adapting to change, solving problems creatively, and balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution.

The Head of People & Administration oversees recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, culture initiatives, employment agreements, organizational policies, employee engagement, and leadership support. This individual serves as a trusted advisor to leadership while ensuring employees receive a positive and consistent experience throughout their employment journey.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Recruiting

  • Lead the organization's recruiting strategy and workforce planning efforts.
  • Develop sourcing strategies for clinical, operational, and leadership positions.
  • Manage the hiring process from sourcing through onboarding.
  • Build and maintain recruiting scorecards, hiring metrics, and workforce reports.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and hiring priorities.
  • Develop employment branding initiatives that attract top talent.
Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Design and oversee onboarding programs that support employee success and retention.
  • Ensure new employees receive the tools, resources, and training needed to be successful.
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, promotions, transfers, and offboarding.
  • Develop and maintain employee resources, guides, and internal documentation.
  • Support employee development and career growth initiatives.
Employee Relations & Leadership Support

  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leaders.
  • Provide coaching and guidance regarding performance management, accountability, communication, and workplace concerns.
  • Support leaders in delivering effective feedback and recognition.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and employee engagement efforts.
  • Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Culture & Employee Experience

  • Champion EverCare's mission, vision, and core values.
  • Develop employee recognition, retention, and engagement programs.
  • Coordinate employee appreciation initiatives, events, and culture-building activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee satisfaction and workplace experience.
  • Help create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
Contracts & Administrative Management

  • Manage employment agreements, offer letters, and personnel documentation.
  • Maintain employee records and organizational documentation.
  • Support contractor onboarding and contract administration.
  • Assist with policy development and employee handbook updates.
  • Partner with leadership on special projects and organizational initiatives.
Strategic Partnership

  • Partner closely with executive leadership on workforce planning and organizational development.
  • Support quarterly and annual planning initiatives.
  • Develop people-related reporting and key performance indicators.
  • Identify opportunities to improve employee-facing systems, processes, and communication.
Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Organizational Development, or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a startup, emerging-growth, or rapidly scaling organization.
  • Experience building recruiting programs, onboarding processes, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Strong employee relations and leadership coaching experience.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Commitment to servant leadership and supporting the success of others.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-state workforce experience.
  • Experience supporting remote teams.
  • EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) experience.
  • SHRM, PHR, SPHR, or equivalent certification.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation

  • Competitive annual salary of $65,000 - $80,000, commensurate with experience.

  • Monthly healthcare reimbursement stipend.
  • 15 days (120 hours) of Paid Time Off annually, accrued bi-weekly following 90 days of employment.
