We're looking for a Head of Design to take full ownership of our company's visual identity - uniting brand-level art direction with product design (UX/UI) into a single, coherent design language. You'll lead and develop a multidisciplinary team (Product, Graphic, Web, and Motion), and drive the adoption of AI tools that scale creative output without compromising quality. In this role, you'll operate as both a hands-on art director and a strategic partner to the business - ready to define and elevate our design culture on a global scale.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the overarching art direction, brand identity, and visual strategy for the company
  • Lead the design team's AI transformation - researching, testing, and standardizing new tools to boost creative velocity
  • Act as the final quality gate for major product releases, brand campaigns, and web updates, ensuring visual consistency
  • Manage, hire, and mentor a diverse team of designers, conducting regular 1-on-1s, creative reviews, and skill development planning
  • Implement company-wide DesignOps frameworks (asset libraries, review processes) to maximize the team's speed and efficiency

Requirements

  • 5+ years in design leadership, managing multidisciplinary teams (Product, Graphic, Web, Motion) with a strong focus on Art Direction and Brand Identity
  • Proven experience integrating and scaling Generative AI tools (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, AI Figma plugins) into a design team's daily workflows
  • A strong, diverse portfolio spanning both Brand/Visual Design (identity, typography, 3D, composition) and Product Design (UX/UI, design systems)
  • Expert-level Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud skills, with proven experience building and scaling Brand Guidelines and Design Systems
  • Deep understanding of visual storytelling, emotional design, and how aesthetics shape user trust in financial products
  • Visual Evangelism - passionate advocacy for aesthetic excellence and the ability to inspire the whole company around top-tier design
  • 360° Strategic Vision - seeing corporate branding and the trading terminal interface as chapters of one user story
  • Creative Leadership - constructive critique that elevates designers' work while keeping creative exploration psychologically safe
  • Diplomacy & Alignment - collaborating with C-level stakeholders and defending bold art direction with logic and user-centric reasoning

Will be a plus

  • Domain knowledge in FinTech, CFD trading, Crypto exchanges
  • Advanced technical knowledge of training custom AI models (e.g., fine-tuning Stable Diffusion on specific brand guidelines) for scalable, automated asset generation
  • Recognition in the global design community (e.g., Awwwards, Red Dot, Behance featured projects, or similar industry accolades)
