Head of Enterprise Architecture & Engineering
Principal Architect | Enterprise Platforms, Digital Enablement, Data & AI |Senior Director Level
Status: Full-Time / Permanent
Location: Remote
Reports To: CIO
Salary: $175,000-$220,000, dependent on experience level and skillset
About the Role
SavATree is seeking a Head of Enterprise Architecture & Engineering to shape and build the enterprise technology backbone powering customer experience, field enablement, operational scalability, enterprise platforms, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.
This role requires a full-stack enterprise mindset across enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, Azure cloud platforms, enterprise data, digital backbone capabilities, automation, engineering standards, and AI enablement.
This is not a pure governance or ivory-tower architecture role. The ideal candidate is a principal architect and builder – equally comfortable defining future-state direction, solving complex technical problems, partnering directly with engineers and vendors, influencing enterprise decisions, and helping delivery teams execute.
The successful candidate will bring experience enabling modern digital ecosystems through scalable enterprise architecture. While this role does not own digital products directly, it plays a critical role in enabling customer and employee-facing capabilities through APIs, reusable services, enterprise integrations, shared data models, identity, workflow orchestration, and scalable platform design.
Success requires a player–coach mindset with the ability to move fluidly between executive conversations and technical depth.
